Iowa High School Softball - West Delaware gets by Benton
May 29, 2025: Manchester, IA 52057 In Thursday's non-league match, the host West Delaware Hawks softball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Benton Bobcats.
The Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Stormin' Pointers go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Center Point-Urbana was nipped by Wahlert (Dubuque, IA), 12-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 30. Benton will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 0-2 record after their 23-0 league loss to Linn-Mar (Marion, IA).
