Milford Spartans (Milford, NH) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), 6-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Milford improves its record to 9-10 on the year.

The Sabers now hold a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pelham for a Division II contest on Friday, May 30. Souhegan will face a Pythons squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Oyster River (Durham, NH). The Pythons record now stands at 5-11.
