The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) and the host Montville Wolves (Oakdale, CT), observed Bacon Academy's softball team get by Montville by a tally of 9-6.

The Bobcats (11-12) will now prepare for their bout against Foran (Milford, CT). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 23-0 record. In their last bout, Foran tipped Cheshire (Cheshire, CT), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the University/Classical Magnet Hawks (Hartford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, June 2. Montville will attempt to advance on its 13-10 season record.
