The Calvert Senecas softball team (Tiffin, OH), was tipped 7-6 in Wednesday's league test with the host Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH)

Coming up next, the Chieftains encounter the New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River test, on Monday, May 9. Hopewell-Loudon will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record. The Blue Jackets come into the test with a 15-8 record after their 10-9 league win over Danbury (Lakeside, OH).
