Washington High School Softball - Sunnyside bounces Eisenhower
May 4, 2022: Sunnyside, WA 98944 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA) and the visiting Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA), witnessed Sunnyside's softball squad prevail over Eisenhower by a count of 20-10.
The Grizzlies now sport a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Moses Lake for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match on Friday, May 6. Sunnyside will meet a Chiefs squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Richland (Richland, WA). The Chiefs record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Eisenhower moves to 5-7 on the season. The Cadets host Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match on Friday, May 6. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 11-3. Eastmont won 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Ephrata (Ephrata, WA)
