New York High School Softball - Moriah felled by Northeastern Clinton
May 4, 2023: Port Henry, NY 12974 The Moriah Vikings softball team (Port Henry, NY), was routed 19-1 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY)
Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I test, on Friday, May 5. Northeastern Clinton will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Nighthawks enter the test with a 5-2 record after their 20-2 league win over AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY).
The Vikings (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Sentinels enter the Section 7 Champlain Valley I test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Ticonderoga was routed by Bolton/Schroon Lake (Bolton Landing, NY), 13-12, in a non-league test.
