New York High School Softball - Plattsburgh bounces Northeastern Clinton
May 11, 2023: Champlain, NY 12919 The Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) softball routed the host Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY), 9-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Hornets (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Beekmantown was routed by Peru (Peru, NY), 14-8, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Saranac for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout on Friday, May 12. Northeastern Clinton will confront a Chiefs squad coming off a 12-9 league loss to Peru (Peru, NY). The Chiefs record now stands at 8-4.
