Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA), 11-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Big Spring upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, May 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 8-1. Cumberland Valley won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against State College (State College, PA)

With the defeat, James Buchanan falls to 0-10 on the season. The Rockets travel to West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 10.
