Virginia High School Softball - Maury sneaks past Norcom
May 5, 2025: Norfolk, VA 23517 The Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) softball nipped the visiting Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), 1-0 in Monday's league outing.
The Commodores now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Taylor for a Eastern outing on Tuesday, May 6. Maury will encounter a Titans team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Titans record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Norcom moves to 5-6 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Norview (Norfolk, VA) to encounter the Pilots in a Eastern outing on Tuesday, May 6. The Pilots come into the outing with a record of 2-8. Norview lost 12-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA)
