Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Swink Lions (Swink, CO), 8-7 in a league test.

With the win, Rye upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Swink (Swink, CO) to battle the Lions in a 2A/1A Santa Fe test on Saturday, May 6. The Lions come into the test with a record of 11-6. Swink won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Custer County (Westcliffe, CO)

With the defeat, Swink falls to 11-8 on the season. The Lions travel to Rye (Rye, CO) to battle the Thunderbolts in a 2A/1A Santa Fe test on Saturday, May 6. The Thunderbolts come into the test with a record of 11-5. Rye won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO)
