May 6, 2024: Winsted, CT 06098 The Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers routed the host Gilbert Yellowjackets softball squad by a final score of 28-8 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Mountaineers (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos go into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wamogo Regional for a Berkshire battle on Wednesday, May 8. Gilbert will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 22-1 league loss to Housatonic (Falls Village, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 0-8.
