Virginia High School Baseball - Northside wallops Fleming
May 6, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24019 The Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 21-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenvar for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Northside will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-9.
With the defeat, Fleming drops to 1-15 on the year. The Colonels travel to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Blue Ridge challenge on Friday, May 9. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Lord Botetourt won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Staunton River (Moneta, VA)
