The Manchester Squires softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Caston Comets to 3 in the Squires non-league win on Tuesday.

The Squires now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwestern for a Three Rivers battle on Wednesday, May 7. Manchester will confront a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 league win over Northfield (Wabash, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Caston moves to 3-11 on the season. The Comets host Logansport (Logansport, IN) to confront the Berries in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. The Berries come into the battle with a record of 14-4. Logansport won 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against Kokomo (Kokomo, IN)
