Virginia High School Softball - Madison County topped by Page County
May 6, 2025: Madison, VA 22727 Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), 23-8 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Page County improves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Panthers host Strasburg (Strasburg, VA) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Rams enter the game with a record of 10-6. Strasburg won 3-1 in their recent league game against Clarke County (Berryville, VA)
The Mountaineers now hold a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Luray for a Bull Run game on Wednesday, May 7. Madison County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-9 league loss to Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-12.
