The Windber Ramblers softball team scored 5 runs and held the host North Star Cougars to 3 in the Ramblers league win on Tuesday.

The Ramblers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berlin Brothersvalley for a Inter County - West battle on Thursday, May 8. Windber will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Shade (Cairnbrook, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, North Star moves to 4-11 on the season. The Cougars host Rockwood (Rockwood, PA) to confront the Rockets in a Inter County - West battle on Thursday, May 8.
