In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers softball team scored a nice 17-2 victory over the North Star Cougars.

The Mountaineers (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Ferndale (Johnstown, PA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Ferndale gained a win over United (Armagh, PA), 18-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA) in a Inter County - West match, on Thursday, May 1. North Star will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Rockets go into the match with a 4-11 record after their 15-6 league loss to Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA).
