In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Crown Point Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Chesterton Trojans.

The Bulldogs (15-3) will now prepare for their match against Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen come into the non-league match with a 16-2 record. In their last match, Penn notched a victory over Elkhart (Elkhart, IN), 13-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 9. Chesterton will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Huskies come into the match with a 11-5 record after their 14-0 league win over South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN).
