New Hampshire High School Softball - Prospect Mountain bounces Kearsarge
May 7, 2024: Alton, NH 03809 Prospect Mountain Timberwolves (Alton, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH), 14-0 in a league challenge.
The Timberwolves now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belmont for a Division III challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Prospect Mountain will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Kearsarge falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host Mascoma (Canaan, NH) to face the Royals in a Division III challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Mascoma lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH)
