The Notre Dame Green Knights (West Haven, CT) baseball trounced the visiting Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT), 12-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Green Knights now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guilford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. Notre Dame will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Plainville (Plainville, CT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, Cheshire drops to 9-4 on the year. The Rams host North Haven (North Haven, CT) to clash with the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8.
