In Wednesday's league game, the host South Kingstown Rebels baseball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Cranston West Falcons.

The Rebels (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels enter the Division 1 game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Smithfield held off North Providence (North Providence, RI), 6-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Falcons face the Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) in a Division 1 game, on Thursday, May 8. Cranston West will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-9 record after their 5-2 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
