Minnesota High School Baseball - Mahtomedi edges Simley
May 7, 2025: Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 The Mahtomedi Zephyrs baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Simley Spartans to 2 in the Zephyrs league win on Wednesday.
The Zephyrs now hold a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hill-Murray for a Classic Suburban test on Friday, May 9. Mahtomedi will play a Pioneers team coming off a 10-0 league win over Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-2.
With the defeat, Simley drops to 7-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to North (North St. Paul, MN) to play the Polars in a Classic Suburban test on Friday, May 9. The Polars go into the test with a record of 2-13. North lost 18-4 in their recent league test against Hastings (Hastings, MN)
