May 7, 2026: Marlton, NJ 08053 The Cherokee Chiefs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Moorestown Quakers to 5 in the Chiefs non-league win on Thursday.
The Chiefs now own a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cherry Hill East for a Olympic - American test on Monday, May 11. Cherokee will play a Cougars team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Washington Township (Sewell, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 9-10.
With the defeat, Moorestown drops to 9-8 on the year. The Quakers travel to Camden County Vo-Tech (Sicklerville, NJ) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 5-14. Camden County Vo-Tech lost 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ)
