May 8, 2023: Ellsworth, ME 04605 The Ellsworth Eagles softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Old Town Coyotes to 2 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Ellsworth improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Eagles host John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a Class B North game on Tuesday, May 9. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 6-1. John Bapst Memorial won 8-2 in their recent non-league game against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)
In their next game, the Coyotes clash with the Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) in a Class B North game, on Tuesday, May 9. Old Town will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 3-5 record after their 4-3 league win over Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).
