Virginia High School Softball - Highland topped by Bath County
May 8, 2025: Hot Springs, VA 24445 Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Highland Rams (Monterey, VA), 14-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Bath County improves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Chargers travel to James River (Buchanan, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Knights enter the game with a record of 13-4. James River won 17-7 in their recent non-league game against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA)
The Rams now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Eastern Montgomery for a non-league battle on Monday, May 12.
