Virginia High School Softball - Bath County bounces Craig County
April 8, 2025: Hot Springs, VA 24445 The Bath County Chargers softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Craig County Rockets to 9 in the Chargers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Chargers now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richwood for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Bath County will confront a Lumberjacks team coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Highland (Monterey, VA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Craig County moves to 0-4 on the season. The Rockets host Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA) to confront the Fighting Blues in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. The Fighting Blues come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Parry McCluer won 21-17 in their recent non-league battle against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)
