April 7, 2025: Buchanan, VA 24066 The James River Knights overwhelmed the visiting Craig County Rockets softball squad by a count of 19-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 11. James River will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
The Rockets (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Bath County was routed by Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA), 20-0, in a non-league challenge.
