The Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) softball routed the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), 12-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Royals now sport a 14-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Brossart for a non-league outing on Monday, May 11. Mason County will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-9.
