Virginia High School Softball - Northside holds off William Byrd
May 9, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24019 The Northside Vikings the visiting William Byrd Terriers softball squad by a final score of 11-9 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Vikings (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the Blue Ridge battle with a 0-18 record. In their last battle, Fleming by Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 14-0, in a league battle.
The Terriers now possess a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Fleming for a Blue Ridge battle on Friday, May 12. William Byrd will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 23-0 league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 0-19.
