May 9, 2024: Amelia Court House, VA 23002 The Amelia County Raiders baseball team (Amelia Court House, VA), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA)
The Statesmen now hold a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buckingham for a James River outing on Monday, May 13. Randolph-Henry will confront a Knights team coming off a 15-0 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Knights record now stands at 13-0.
Next, the Raiders confront the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a James River outing, on Tuesday, May 14. Amelia County will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Chargers go into the outing with a 8-5 record after their 15-3 league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).
