Oregon High School Softball - Taft loses to Jefferson
May 9, 2024: Lincoln City, OR 97367 The Jefferson Lions softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Taft Tigers to 4 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Jefferson improves its record to 9-9 on the year. The Lions host Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A-SD2 Special District 2 game on Friday, May 10. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 16-5. Yamhill-Carlton won 8-2 in their recent non-league game against Junction City (Junction City, OR)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR) in a 3A-SD2 Special District 2 game, on Friday, May 10. Taft will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 10-8 record after their 16-4 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, OR).
