In Friday's non-league test, the Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN), by a tally of 15-2.

Next, the Panthers meet the Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 10. Pioneer will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Bombers go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 6-2 non-league win over North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN).

The Bison (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Brickies go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record.
