June 13, 2025: Newton, IA 50208 The Norwalk Warriors overwhelmed the host Newton Cardinals softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Warriors meet the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 14. Norwalk will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Clippers go into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 11-7 non-league win over North Polk (Alleman, IA).
The Cardinals (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles go into the Little Hawkeye challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Pella Christian was routed by Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA), 8-0, in a league challenge.
