Iowa High School Softball - Solon bounces Benton
June 17, 2024: Solon, IA 52333 Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 9-14 record. They take the field next when they host Benton for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 17. Solon will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 19-3.
With the loss, Benton falls to 20-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Solon (Solon, IA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 17. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. Solon lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against A-D-M (Adel, IA)
