Iowa High School Softball - B-G-M sneaks past Sigourney
June 19, 2025: Brooklyn, IA 52211 The B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) softball nipped the visiting Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA), 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.
The Bears now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iowa Valley for a South Iowa Cedar outing on Friday, June 20. B-G-M will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 league win over English Valleys (North English, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Sigourney moves to 12-6 on the season. The Savages host Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to encounter the Plainsmen in a South Iowa Cedar outing on Friday, June 20. The Plainsmen come into the outing with a record of 0-18. Belle Plaine lost 13-5 in their recent non-league outing against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
