Iowa High School Softball - Solon bounces Independence
June 2, 2025: Independence, IA 50644 The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) and the host Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA), observed Solon's softball team notch a victory over Independence by a tally of 15-6.
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Vinton-Shellsburg was routed by Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA), 8-0, in a league bout.
