Iowa High School Softball - Pleasantville knocked off by Van Meter
June 2, 2025: Pleasantville, IA 50225 The Van Meter Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Pleasantville Trojans softball squad by a count of 19-1 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Interstate 35 Roadrunners (Truro, IA) in a West Central challenge, on Wednesday, June 4. Van Meter will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Earlham (Earlham, IA). The Cardinals go into the West Central challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Earlham was routed by Clarinda (Clarinda, IA), 14-2, in a non-league challenge.
