June 20, 2024: Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054 The Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) baseball trounced the host Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 21-7 record. They take the field next when they host Solon for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 21. Bishop Heelan Catholic will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 18-8.
With the defeat, Sergeant Bluff-Luton drops to 12-15 on the year. The Warriors host St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 22. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 7-17. St. Albert lost 11-7 in their recent league challenge against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA)
