June 20, 2024: Alburnett, IA 52202 The Alburnett Pirates triumphed over the visiting Springville Orioles softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates play the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 21. Alburnett will attempt to upgrade on its 25-3 season record.
The Orioles (5-18) will now prepare for their challenge against West Central (Maynard, IA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, West Central overcame Postville (Postville, IA), 13-2, in a league challenge.
