Iowa High School Softball - Alburnett bounces Central City
June 7, 2024: Central City, IA 52214 The crowd at Friday's league match between the Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) and the host Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA), saw Alburnett's softball squad achieve victory over Central City by a count of 15-3.
The Pirates now sport a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central DeWitt for a non-league match on Saturday, June 8.
With the loss, Central City falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Midland (Wyoming, IA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, June 10. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-9.
