June 27, 2025: Manchester, IA 52057 The Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA) baseball trounced the host West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA), 22-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host Benton for a WaMac-West challenge on Monday, June 30. Grinnell will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 20-5.
With the defeat, West Delaware drops to 12-11 on the year. The Hawks host Solon (Solon, IA) to clash with the Spartans in a WaMaC-East challenge on Monday, June 30. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 15-10. Solon won 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA)
