The Central Noble Cougars softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting South Adams Starfires to 3 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 24-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rossville for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 7. Central Noble will confront a Hornets team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Rochester (Rochester, IN). The Hornets record now stands at 23-5.

With the loss, South Adams moves to 24-6 on the season.
