Iowa High School Softball - Clear Creek-Amana gets by Grinnell
June 5, 2024: Tiffin, IA 52340 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA) and the visiting Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), witnessed Clear Creek-Amana's softball squad hold off Grinnell by a final score of 7-6.
The Clippers (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 14-2 record. In their last bout, North Polk held off Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA), 6-5, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Van Buren County for a non-league bout on Friday, June 7. Grinnell will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 12-5 league loss to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
