Iowa High School Softball - Cardinal bounces Central Lee
July 8, 2024: Eldon, IA 52554 The Cardinal Comets (Eldon, IA) softball routed the visiting Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA), 13-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Comets now sport a 26-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand View Christian for a non-league outing on Wednesday, July 10. Cardinal will encounter a Thunder team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Thunder record now stands at 17-14.
With the loss, Central Lee moves to 24-8 on the season. The Hawks travel to Camanche (Camanche, IA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league outing on Thursday, July 11. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 6-16. Camanche lost 13-2 in their recent non-league outing against Midland (Wyoming, IA)
