July 8, 2024: Eldon, IA 52554 The Cardinal Comets overwhelmed the visiting Central Lee Hawks softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Comets meet the Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, July 10. Cardinal will attempt to upgrade on its 26-7 season record. The Thunder go into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA).
The Hawks (24-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians go into the non-league challenge with a 6-16 record. In their last challenge, Camanche was routed by Midland (Wyoming, IA), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.
