Texas High School Volleyball - Tyler can't hold off North Lamar
August 10, 2023: Tyler, TX 75702 In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting North Lamar Panthers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Tyler Lions.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Fightin' Indians come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Jacksonville was edged by Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions clash with the Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 11. Tyler will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX).
