In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Victoria West Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cuero Gobblers.

The Warriors now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Goliad for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 13. Victoria West will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
