Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lake Cormorant advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The travel to South Panola (Batesville, MS) to face the Tigers in a Class 6A Region 1 test on Thursday, August 14. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-1. South Panola won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Water Valley (Water Valley, MS)

The Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horn Lake for a Class 7A Region 1 test on Tuesday, August 12. Hernando will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
