In Tuesday's league match, the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Jaguars battle the St. George's Gryphons (Collierville, TN) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 27. DeSoto Central will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Gryphons come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Houston (Germantown, TN).

With the loss, Hernando drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Gulf Breeze (Gulf Breeze, FL) to clash with the Dolphins in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29.
