The Tupelo Golden Wave volleyball squad (Tupelo, MS), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS)

With the win, DeSoto Central improves its record to 19-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 14-13. Northwest Rankin lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Germantown (Madison, MS)

Next, the Golden Wave meet the Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 29. Tupelo will attempt to move on its 19-13 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 9-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS).
