Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) and the visiting Southaven Chargers (Southaven, MS), saw DeSoto Central's volleyball squad notch a victory over Southaven by a score of 3-0.

With the win, DeSoto Central improves its record to 15-7 on the season. The Jaguars host Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 9-6. Center Hill won 3-0 in their recent league battle against South Panola (Batesville, MS)

The Chargers now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewisburg for a Class 7A Region 1 battle on Thursday, September 11. Southaven will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hernando (Hernando, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 15-6.
